Does anybody know what this current NOTAM is referring to near Dallas? Sounds interesting

ZFW DALLAS FORT WORTH ... AIRBORNE LASER OPERATIONS...
EFFECTIVE FROM 1009050000 UTC UNTIL 1010100001 UTC, AIRBORNE LASER
OPERATIONS WILL BE INTERMITTENTLY CONDUCTED ABOVE FL450 WITHIN 75NMR
OF THE FOLLOWING MEM, JAN, AEX, IAH, FSM, IRW, JEN, STV, PNH, EWM AND
MRF. THE POTENTIAL FOR INJURY TO PILOTS'/AIRCREWS' AND PASSENGERS'
EYES BY THE NON-VISIBLE DOWNWARD SCANNING LASER BEAM IS LIMITED TO A
DISTANCE OF 4,500 FEET BELOW THE AIRCRAFT. DURING ACTIVE LASING
OPERATIONS THE AIRCRAFT WILL BE OPERATING AT THE TOP OF AN ATC
ASSIGNED 5,000 FOOT ALTITUDE BLOCK. THIS AREA WILL BE MONITORED BY
OBSERVERS AND OPERATION OF THE LASER WILL BE TERMINATED IF NON
PARTICIPATING AIRCRAFT ARE DETECTED ENTERING THE AFFECTED AREA. THE
CONTROLLING CENTER WILL BE NOTIFIED PRIOR TO THE START OF LASER
OPERATIONS AND AGAIN WHEN LASER OPERATIONS ARE TERMINATED. THE
DOMESTIC EVENTS NETWORK (DEN) AT (202) 493-5107, IS THE FAA
COORDINATION FACILITY.

Unless you're flying at FL400 all will be well. Sounds like topographic surveying.

That would be my guess. But I'd be interested to know what plane is doing the surveying, probably some mid-sized bizjet.
