Setting up a scenario from CYYZ 15R to KSFO with the Pearson 9 departure.
Pearson 9 for 15R has 6.3% up to 3000, Rwy heading to 7.9 YTP MNM 3000.
Looks like radar vectors to the first waypoint on the route ARTHR ~40nm west.
Does anyone have programing advise or SOP for the FMS from the MANUAL line to ARTHR?
I would assume hand flying or speed climb/heading on AP until a "cleared direct" is issued would be how it's handled?
Anything to watch for leaving the MANUAL line blank on the right?
