Price. The airlines and third party providers don't care where you got it. The major schools are all quite acceptable. Geographically speaking though, you might want to consider Thief River Falls. A good school. You'd learn enough to get a job.
PS : You may think the fabric part of the course, assuming it is still taught, to be a trifle silly. I assure you though, that you can earn a fair bit of money with this skill. It's a dying craft.
I am glad I was around to fly before de-regulation.

It will take a little longer, but you're far better off going to a community college. The private schools will cost you somewhere in the vicinity of $20,000, and you'll get done in about 14 mo., CC's cost about $12-20/unit and usually take 2 yrs. Do the math.
