I was browsing the database as usual, today, through Caribbean pics and something crossed my mind. How is parking determained at Juliana on a daily basis? With only 4 jet bridges, is it first come first serve? I can only imagine airlines would much rather have direct bridge access with the new terminal that to do the traditional hard-stand/air stairs deal. I assume the gates are CUTE for obvious reasons but does anyone really know how they work it out down there?

Don't know about gate rotation but there's ample ramp space for parking wide-bodies that aren't loading/unloading. I was there during the Eurovolcano ground stop in April and an Air France A340 sat parked for the 5 days I was there.
