Hi,
I am looking for some detailed information regarding the jt8d-11 engine.
The information I am interested in is this:

Maximum allowable thrust (lb)
Max efficient inlet mach (mach)
Compressor area (square feet)
Minimum n1 (for fuel intro)
Fan RPM at 100% n1
Engine start fuel intro time (sec)
Throttle advance time from idle to maximum (sec)
Thrust-reverser deployment time
Number of transmissions
Low altitude for jet engines (ft)
Low altitude half thrust sfc
Low altitude max thrust sfc
Hi altitude for jet engines (ft)
Hi altitude half thrust sfc
Hi altitude max thrust sfc
Idle fuel flow (ratio to max)

I hope someone have a pdf or something.

Regards
Alexander Andersson

Some of this information can be found on the TCDS:
http://rgl.faa.gov/Regulatory_and_Gu...f72862573460049d2e0/$FILE/E2EA.pdf

Sea level static:
Max continuous: 12,600 lbs
Max takeoff: 15,000 lbs

Fan RPM at 100%N1: 8600

A lot of the operability stuff you're asking for should come from the engine shop manual, but I'm not aware of that posted publicly anywhere.

Quoting tomenalle (Thread starter):

Max efficient inlet mach (mach)
Thrust-reverser deployment time

These two are airplane properties, not engine properties, so you won't find them attached to any JT8D-11 documentation.

Tom.
