Hello,
I am looking for a book that depicts registrations for a given aircraft in a Airline. For example if I saw a Delta plane with a special livery, I would be able to find the registration in the book for plane spotting. I found JP Airline Fleets 2010/11, but its a LOT of money, and I am only in need of the book for one charter airline. Any Ideas?

-thank you

If you're just after a single airline, go to a site like

http://www.planespotters.net/Airline/index.php

and you can get the list of aircraft under each type.

Thanks, but the Charter Airline I am looking for is not on there. It is called Key Air:

http://www.keyair.com/

And I have been trying for months to get the full fleet of airplanes tail numbers. I usually spot at KOXC, and Key Air is based there, so I want to know what I am looking at when I spot it. So Far I have:

Global 5000 - N375WB AKA KEY375 NOT TRACKABLE http://www.keyair.com/charter/fleet.htm?id=6
Challenger 604- N604AV AKA KEY604 http://www.keyair.com/charter/fleet.htm?id=5
Challenger 300 - N300FS NOT TRACKABLE AKA KEY300 http://www.keyair.com/charter/fleet.htm?id=1
Challenger 300 - N594CA AKA KEY594 http://www.keyair.com/charter/fleet.htm?id=3
Challenger 300 - N497EC AKA KEY497 http://www.keyair.com/charter/fleet.htm?id=2
Dassault Falcon 2000LX - N606TJ AKA KEY606 http://www.keyair.com/charter/fleet.htm?id=30
Dassault Falcon 50 - N634KA AKA KEY634 http://www.keyair.com/charter/fleet.htm?id=28
Dassault Falcon 20 - N633KA AKA KEY633 http://www.keyair.com/charter/fleet.htm?id=32
Dassault Falcon 10 - N631KA AKA KEY631 http://www.keyair.com/charter/fleet.htm?id=29
Gulfstream V - N50KC AKA KEY50 http://www.keyair.com/charter/fleet.htm?id=14
Gulfstream IV-SP - N888ZF AKA KEY888 http://www.keyair.com/charter/fleet.htm?id=12
Gulfstream IV-SP - N303TP AKA KEY303 http://www.keyair.com/charter/fleet.htm?id=12
Gulfstream IV - N719SA AKA KEY719 http://www.keyair.com/charter/fleet.htm?id=11
Guldstream 450 -N930DC KEY930 http://www.keyair.com/charter/fleet.htm?id=9
Hawker 800XP - N707JC AKA KEY707 http://www.keyair.com/charter/fleet.htm?id=18
Hawker 800 - N852A NOT TRACKABLE AKA KEY852 http://www.keyair.com/charter/fleet.htm?id=16
Learjet 45 - N313BW AKA KEY313 http://www.keyair.com/charter/fleet.htm?id=16

As you can see, these Key Air planes are flown as KEY, and then their first couple registration numbers, OR the full callsign. BUT! There are a couple Key Air planes out there that I do not have on the list, that are flying.... For example:

KEY91: http://flightaware.com/live/flight/KEY91
I do not have an aircraft here with the tail numbers N91....
But he is filed with the Key Callsign, which is weird to me.

But this is based mostly on pictures, and flightaware. I am not positive on if these planes are still in Key Air, or even if I am getting the tail numbers right. I have been compiling this information for months, but I have been getting mixed answers on the Gulfstream tail numbers, and other planes. Mainly Gulfstream, thus I would like a full list of planes that Key Air handles, but I have only found it in the JP Airline Fleets, and I am not going to buy it for $135 just for 1 charter airline.

-thank you

OK, I get you.

I do wonder if Key Air leases aircraft in as and when necessary because, for example, N50KC from the above list seems to have 2 lives

http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N50KC
http://flightaware.com/live/flight/KEY50

which may make it harder to keep track of the aircraft Key Air use.

It seems odd that for other aircraft a trackable flight number includes the registration when the actual registration can't be tracked.

Looking through logs on a group page over here there was a KEY950, a F900 that flew from Copenhagen to Bangor before Christmas (19Dec). There are only two N950xx F900s on the US register

N950SF
http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N950SF
N950JB
http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N950JB

Edit

There are biz-jet books, e.g.

http://www.buchair.com/BIZ.htm

but they may list the owner rather than the operator.
