British Or European Standards For Designing Runway

I'm looking for British or European standards for designing runways? Can't seem to find any books or sites that lsit the quality/standards/legislation that runways need to meet.

Just a nudge in the right direction would be much appreciated.

There is a CAA document that covers the requirements in terms of sizes. There doesn't seem to be anything that covers the actual depths of concrete or whatever.

Try ICAO Annex 14 Vol 1. Otherwise the civil side is all about ACNs and PCNs. Google is your friend.

Thanks for the feedback guys. yes from a civil engineering point of view is how i'm approaching the problem, i'm designing the runway from scrath so need the asphalt and concrete thickness etc.
