Difference Between 747 "sr" Variants

I've been perplexed by this for quite some time. In the red corner you have the 747SR-46:

and in the blue corner you have the 747-146B/SR:

Can someone explain the difference? The SR was based on the -100 and the -100B was a -100 with higher gross weight, right? Or am I just looking at some kind of database indexing issue?

Not exactly.

The SR was essentially a -100 modified to improve the fatigue life and the -100B was an SR series modified to increase the maximum operating weights. The -100B was based on the SR series.
Both airframes had systems optimized for quick turnarounds.

That's fully correct , for more background info, see the Type Certificate of the 747 series :

At page 5,6 is the 747SR mentioned.
Produced are :

Also two 747-100B(SUD) aircraft were produced for JAL ( The 747-100B SUD is basically a 747-100B series airplane with a stretched upper deck.)
