Hi all
Doing some research ... I am trying to find out, ballpark figures, how much the various major parts of a typical A320 or B737 represent in the total cost.
I only really found out that engines typically represent over 1/3rd of the value. Is this true? Can anyone shed some light on "all the rest"? What percentage of the cost of a jetliner is attributable to
- airframe
- avionics and systems
- cabin interior
- doors, safety
- landing gear
- fuel systems
- ...
If anyone has info on widebody types that would of course also be great...

I can't prove it, but I've heard the 1/3 figure many many times so it's at least got pervasiveness going for it.

Avionics/systems are often described as being 1/3 as well (leaving 1/3 for everything else). But I suspect this will be highly aircraft specific.
