737-800 Reserve Fuel Burn

Anybody know what the 737-800's 45 minute emergency fuel reserve burn is? Could depend on custom seating arrangements for the carrier but any number would help. Thanks

Depends on temps, weights, etc.... The BBJs (73Gs) I work with seem to need about 3000 to 3500 pounds as a general rule of thumb.

Too many variables to provide any specific number; however, one can use the previously noted 3500# as a good starting point. Lighter weights gives lower number, higher weights gives higher number. Always remember that the 45 minutes is as LAST CRUISING ALTITUDE... not at the lower altitudes normally associated with holding.
