How Much Does IFE Cost Airlines?

My question is pretty much summed up by the topic, about how much does IFE such as AVOD cost an airline on an annual basis? Disregard things like weight and fuel used, I am looking for things such as Licensing fees, software upgrades fees, tech support fees, etc. I would imagine that there a quite a hefty fee for each movie that Emirates shows on their ICE system.

The number I've heard several times for a 737/A320 sized aircraft has been around $1 million/plane. There are licensing fees, which I'm less familiar with that are likely applied fleet wide but don't quote me on that. When Virgin Blue started installing IFE there was an article I remembered that may be of some help:

It is not only the costs to buy it... You have to maintain it, you have to pay for extra fuel as the airplane is heavier...
