I am eagerly awaiting the judgment from these two carriers, because I have a funny-bone hunch that the findings will have influence on whether or not they will replace their existing pax 747 fleet with 748i's

Am I asking too soon?

Boaz.

I guess. They are not too long in service yet to give reliable information.

Maybe Cargolux can provide the first numbers how their 748F's work at the moment.

Could be an option. Would be great to see more 748i costumer.

Yes this is my hope too! The 747 looks perfect flying for Cathay and BA!! So i am "crabbingly biased" with my question on this

You never know... Maybe once LH is operating the 748i and can provide feedback there will be more orders then. I keep my fingers crossed.

Yes Wilco737!!! I am also keeping my fingers crossed that you might get the chance to fly a LH 748i! Then hopefully you can use your charm skills and persuade them

I soon will, when it finally enters the fleet. First is expected in march 2012... So takes a while...
