There's an article about Don Bateman of Honeywell in the Seattle Times today.

I have had the privilege of meeting him and he's a very nice person as well as being a great inventor. He does what he wants to do at Honeywell and they're smart enough to let him do just that.

He's very humble, but how many individuals have done as much for aviation safety as he has?
