Does anyone here know how much it costs EK to install each suite? I read somewhere that it's $125,000 USD, but that can't be true. That much per suite? And I don't just mean installation, I mean the ife, doors, electric, pretty much how much it costs for everything it takes to make the suite full up an running, and working.
The cost of all airplane seats is more than many people think. Don't forget you don't just have to build the seat but you have to have it tested and certified, none of which I would imagine is a cheap process. Those costs would be passed along with the sale of the seat. For example simple economy seats are mentioned as costing at least 10 000 USD. If we think about what is involved with those compared to an EK suite its not hard to imagine that the cost would rise significantly.

Doesn't sound too high to me. Also consider that with ticket prices probably over US$10000 per flight for that seat you've paid for the seat itself in a week or two.

definitely in the ballpark... Seats (and galleys and engines and a ton of other stuff) is BFE and the airline pays that cost on top of the price of the airframe itself.
