Does anyone know if United airlines 757's have the fold down video Monitors? I have flown on a TWA 757 and they had the fold down video monitors any help would be appreciated.

The Continental 752s and 753s do. The United ones are not - they are aisle monitors.

It depends on what you mean by "fold down monitors". United 757s do not have the PSU mounted folding LCD monitors. They do have the aisle mounted CRT monitors, which at door 1 can be retracted up into the ceiling.

This is really sad, but I haven't flown in the back on a PMCO 752 since they installed the AVOD, I know in BF the monitor comes out of the arm rest. The monitor should be in the seat backs in Y, if I'm even close to thinking correctly?

BF monitor is mounted to the wall in front of the seat - it is a large, fixed screen - not connected to arm-rest at all.

Seat-back monitors at each seat in Y, except for row 7ABC where it comes from arm-rest.

There are also some drop-down overhead monitors throughout the cabin that can be used to show the moving map, I believe.

You may very well be correct that the monitor is in the seat back wall.

Will the tv's in the aisle be done away and go to LiveTV?

AFAIK with the exception of PS 757s which will be getting AVOD, the standard sUA 757s will remain as is, but probably just get a refresh. Also theres talk about the AVOD coming to the sCO 753s as opposed to the DTV, since those will be used alot on Hawaii flights once the 763s start coming off those flights.
