Question About The A330F

What's up with the landing gear on the 330F? Why does it have that bulge underneath it? I may have missed something, my apologies.

Also: Is UPS or FX expected to order it any time soon?

All A330/340s have a slight nose down attitude on the ground, the "hump" allowed A to reposition the nose gear and raise the nose without actually lengthening the gear. This makes it easier for loading the freight.

Both have placed large orders for the 767-300F, so at this time, I am inclined to say "no".

And I can tell you first hand how difficult it is to push 5000lb cans up hill into an old A300-600F. Especially if they're warped.
