Abstract;
"DME operates in the ultrahigh frequency band, between 962 and 1213 MHz, and uses PON transmissions with line-of-sight propagation paths"
Can anybody explain what PON transmissions are?

Hi mmedford i got this from a book i'm reading called ace the technical pilot interview by Gary Bristow, i have being told this book does have mistake in it though
