Hi guys. I'm not sure of anyone here is aware of FSFuel. It is a great program via an online server that provides a computerized flight plan and load sheet to specific aircraft in FSX/9. Unfortunately the server is offline it looks like, and I am unable to get in contact with the creators. It truly adds the utmost real world airline operations in FSX. My question is, is there another program that if you provide certain things such as the route, aircraft, alternates, etc. can it create a loadsheet and CFP for you? I am willing to pay some money for it but since it is for FSX, it won't be used for real world navigation. So hopefully there is an online server website that provides such a thing.

If you're talking real life then, yes, such a thing exists. One such application is called LIDO, another Jeppesen. But, we're talking aviation here so it's nothing going to be cheap. In fact, it's going to cost you an arm and both legs.

I've no idea what's available on the gaming side of things.

In my FS days I used Vroute a lot for flight planning, it used to provide pretty cool flight plans and could be used for free. It didn't do weight and balance (at least not that I can remember).

Nothing's worse then flying the same registration twice, except flying it 4 times..

You can do some planning based on the info in http://skyvector.com/.

For iPad & iPhone, you can use http://www.foreflight.com/. It even files the flight plan for you, not that you need to do that in simulation.

There is supposed to be a program called Professional Flight Planner X, or PFPX for short. Some folks say itis as good as real stuff and even better in some regards, but it was supposed to go out two years ago, and is still "in development". No bets on when it gets out....

I can't believe I'm posting in Tech/Operations. I read the forum daily but just as an enthusiast and observer.

I use Vroute, which has a pay and free version. It's not too bad.

www.flightaware.com: You can get real world flight planes from the site but it's mostly domestic U.S. Sometimes you can get Int'l flights if the flight leaves from the U.S.

www.simroutes.com: another free flight planning site

TopCat: this is payware. It's an incredible program. It will generate load plans. (their fuel planner isn't great)

I check monthly for updates about PFPX but still no release date.
