Would anyone happen to know which airlines hold crew bases in Bangkok? The Thai airlines are an obvious guess but I'm curious which international airlines are present? I understand that Qantas closed its base last year but Norweigian has a crew base here.

Delta does not have a crew based out of BKK However, NW did. Thank you Thai Princess. UNITED did have a Regional Crew based out of BKK for a short period between 2007-2008.

Delta still has the BKK base for Thai speakers (carried over from NW); they form the bulk of the crew on DL's BKK-NRT run.

Many European airlines have Thai speakers on their flights, whom I believe are based out of BKK since they only fly the BKK-Europe flights. These include AY, LH, LX, and OS.

They do? Are we talking about Norwegian Air Shuttle?

I am genuinely intrigued, I have no idea about this operation.

I understand that they will fly there - as soon as the 787 are in service. Just to make sure I understand correctly, this flying we are talking about - is this referring to their plans to launch BKK in couple months?
