Thanks for the input guys I was wondering also if ACA used the 744 on the YYZ-HKG and YYZ-NRT routes? I'm assuming no, because those routes haven't been around that long right? They would fly to Asia via YVR.

YYZ-HKG was inaugurated with the A340-300, then A340-500. Presently it is flown by a B777. The B747-400 never flew the route.

Absolutely right. CP inaugurated the YYZ-NRT service with the ER version of the DC-10-30. This continued until the merger with AC when an A340-300 was substituted. With SARS and 9/11 demand waned and it became seasonal, with either A340-300 or B767-300 equipment.
Today it is operated daily with a B777-300. The B747-400 never flew the route.
Just because I stopped arguing, doesn't mean I think you are right. It just means I gave up!
