I have come across a lot of training books for Cessna all the way up to airlines. Some are dated but most seem like they would still be good. Is there anywhere to sell them with out taking them to a book store which will not give very much for them. I see some of them selling for $20-$40 used online. I hate to do the online auction thing. Just want to sell them all at once.

I know this may not be posted in the right spot, but I figured this might be where I could get a real answer.

In the past when I've had a clear out of old manuals and books I've either eBay'd them or given them to someone at my flying club in return for a few drinks or something.

There's nowhere as far as I'm aware that you can go to specifically to sell this sort of stuff.

I have many manuals as well I don't need anymore (PA28, BE33, PA42, B737 Classic, B737 NG, MD11F) but I am not allowed to sell them according to my working contract. So I either keep them or make confetti out of it.

But I am not allowed to sell it at all. So you might want to check first before you put them onto ebay.

wilco737 you beat me to it! Yes where I worked it was the same. It was considered co. property was not to be sold. They did "remind" a few pilots about this when they found manuals on the internet for sale. Like you I've got 727, dc-10 and md-11 manuals packed away for no reason.

Try to find a local aviation school...they might take them as a donation and you could take a tax write off.
