As usual i was viewing the trip reports and came across this picture of a US Airways 319 N767UW. I was just wondering what the "device" is on the side of the fuselage:

Don't know what is for. But it sure does NOT improve the aerodynamics of the aircraft. It is also installed with an external doubler.

Not sure! Could be something to with wi-fi US installing on A320 family aircraft and E-Jets? Probably wrong, lets leave it to the experts!

Air to ground wifi antennas. We have them at DL to. They have been adding the sidemount antennas as part of the upgrades to increase bandwidth.

Like others have said- its wifi equip. All US Airbus and EMB are now equipped.
