Plugs For A321 ILO 2L/2R Doors?

On a recent thread, I have read rumors about DL possibly seeking certification to have plugs in lieu of the 2L/2R doors on the A321 in order to fit 190 seats. This would be similar to the plugs on the 739ER that DL will have in place of the doors aft of the wings.

Can anyone confirm this? I haven't read anything elsewhere about it.

The 739ER has the overwing window exits too, hence can do without the smaller doors behind the wing in low density seating. If the 321 has its 2L/R plugged, I doubt it'll happen. Similar thing with the 757 door & emergency window config...
No window exits = 4+4 doors... Have less than 4+4, then emergency exit windows are required.
