I just stumbled upon the topic of LH retiring their 744 with more than 120k FH. In this thread was mentioned that UA retired some of their 744 with less than 50k FH.
So out of curiosity I calculated the FH per day over the time since delivery and the FC per day over the time since delivery for the fleet of aircraft I work on.
I would like to put these numbers in perspective. Is there any average data available by Boeing or Airbus regarding these numbers for their respective aircraft types?
Do you have such data available for the fleet/subfleet of your airline?

either there is no one as fascinated by numbers as I am or such numbers don't exist... which both I can't believe. I'd say it would be a great promotion for boeing to say "our planes are in the air for up to 60% of their lifetime".
It would also be interesting to see how these numbers changed over the decades e.g. 707 vs 777
