A long time.

"Pilots don't want to kill themselves either" is a big factor for people anxious about air travel. It will take decades until travelling public is happy with the idea of flying in an actual pilotless airliner.

Cargo, maybe, as far as commercial air transport is concerned. Singlepilot - I suppose could happen - but I don't think large-scale unpiloted air transport.

Still, support systems for difficult applications (firefighting, medevac) would be a good thing to happen.
