Hi Everyone!

I was watching a brand new Garuda 737-800 land at BFI after the "over-the-hill" flight from Renton. I noticed that the wingtip, anti-collision lights appeared to be LED, not strobe. Has anyone seen any flying around?

A lot of new-build aircraft are being equipped with LED strobes. Jetstar's sharklet-equipped A320s have LED strobes as well.

As a side note on the A320 sharklet LED's; I recently heard that a captain flying at night had to turn the strobes off because they reflected so badly off the PFD. Not a problem I ever heard about in the pre-sharklet aircraft.
