On the newest A321 of PR, why is the logo terminated before the leading edge?

Looks like maybe a heated leading edge. The entire wing leading edge appears the same and it would only make sense to have anti-ice on the winglet as well.

The front edge looks like a reinforcement of some sort. That's where you get most wear and tear. Might well be a stronger material and might well be replaced much more often than the rest of the winglet.

the leading edge is bare metal (polished) on all aircraft. No paint and can be remove for maintenance
