I was wondering if there are any pilots out there who have flown this aircraft. If you have what are your impressions of it? How does she fly? I'd be interested to hear from technical personnel and cabin crew who have worked on these graceful beasts.

Graceful and IL-62 do not belong in the same sentence...

Dear KFRG -
I never took off, or landed the IL-62... but got to have a few flights as a passenger in Soviet-built aircraft, often was IL-62s, a few other times TU-154s, this was mostly in the late 1970s and the 1980s...
I remember being stuck in Dacca, Bangladesh, having delivered a 707 to "Biman", the Bangladesh airline, but all planes out were full, and with the assistance of the Biman staff, they got me a flight to London, via Moscow, on Aeroflot... The sector from Dacca to Moscow was on IL-62...
Nickname of the IL-62 is the "VC-Tensky"... like some call the TU-144 the "Concordsky"... and the TU-154 the "SevenTwentySevensky"...
Being a pilot with PanAm then, got invited in the cockpit, made friends with the crew, great people, they could speak some English...
The airplane is like any other airplane, but their avionics look ancient... cockpit ventilation was a little plastic fan venting air on the face of the pilot, and one for the co-pilot... there was a flight engineer, and a navigator-radio man who handled maps and all communications in quite good English...
Dont laugh about Soviet-built aircraft, they have excellent airframes and if fitted with modern avionics, they can be valid airplanes... their engines were not fuel efficient, and had very little "time between overhauls" before being replaced by a factory-new engine...
Russia is now part of the free world, and their industry is starting to produce or design airplanes which, ten years from now, will hold their reputation... Nothing wrong about a Tupolev, with RR engines and Collins avionics...

Yes, I flew the Air Koryo (Chosonminhang) "baby" from Beijing to Pyongyang and back, was very nice! I really like this plane, after the Tu134 one of my favorite Russian built planes ...
