Hi Everyone,

I've got a few quick questions regarding the Airshow map system.

-How does the system work?
-How does the system know the time to destination, planned arrival time, ect?

Any help will be appreaciated.

yes, please help me out with the Airshow moving map on the websites or somelse like that. And I love that with the airshow map and speed, mph and feets.

You could go to www.trip.com as for yourself if you like. It was much easier way to do it yourself. OK? Well, goodnight!!

The Airshow systems on our aircraft pick off routing, position, altitude, airspeed, temperature inputs from the FMSes and airdata computers. The time input is also derived from the pilot inputted UTC offset when the FMSes are initialized. Our systems are "Windows" based and we have a infrared mouse to select the various display options such as knots vs. statute, feet vs. meters, degrees C vs. F, etc.
