Why the airplane was W/O,written off ?

If you look at some photos here,you'll see that the airplane could have resumed operations !!!

Am i wrong ?

from the outside it might have looked good, but on closer inspection, heavy structural damage was found which made repair not economical.

Even if the damages were severe enough but not so heavy to be a reason for a writeoff, maybe also the publicity reason stepped into game, so the aircraft was written off.
