Can anyone supply to me the verbiage of a Lessor/Trustee as Mortgagee data plate sometimes affixed in the cockpit of leased transport aircraft. I know we had these installed in Airborne Express aircraft in the cockpit and also on the engine giving interest to the wholeful owner. If anyone has this installed on their transport category aircraft and you can copy down the verbiage it would be most helpful to me. Just post your dataplate info here and omit the owner/trustee and lessor names so I have a template to go off.

Nearly every airline finances a/c purchases, much like people do with cars. So until the plane is paid off, it is really owned by the the company financing the a/c. Most of Delta's a/c (including Delta Connection) are financed through Wilmington Trust Bank out of Delaware (they do quite a bit of these as many airlines are registered as Delaware Corporations [for tax reasons]). It's not like financing a $25,000 car; we're talking about millions of dollars per a/c, that is quite a bit of financial risk, so they basically put these plates on the a/c to show who is the true owner of the a/c.
