I prefer metric, the caluclations are easier: 2.906 m/s2
or depending on what part of the planet you are one, the accel there is just shy of a third-gravity.

He said about 130MPH so it's not an exact figure. Although in reality the velocity would probably have been higher than 130MPH as speed is measured in KTS not MPH so if they rotated at 130 MPH speed in KTS would be only 112 KTS which is very slow for a 737.
