Hi,

I am starting to write a story which involves a DC-10-30, I already have the knowledge surrounding the departure airport but having never got to within 200 metres of a DC-10 or such have no knowledge in their operations.

Could anyone please help me 'get my plane off the ground', I am looking out for a checklist and relevent things relating to the operations of the aircraft.

My departure airport is Manchester MAN and it should be going to Washington Dulles via Dublin DUB (It needs to pick up more passengers) so I am not sure how much fuel it would need for this first leg and the take-off speed as it shouldn't be leaving with full tanks as it would be too heavy when it reaches DUB.

If anyone has any information relating to DC-10s or MAN-DUB flights it would be very much appreciated.

- NB I put this in Tech/Ops as it is (I believe) related to Ops, if it is not then I apoligise.
