Well, that's specific.

Can be engine start.

Can be power transfer.

Can be the tow bar being disconnected.

Can be the flaps being extended.

Can be the flight controls being tested.

Probably moaning "after push back" emitting from the loo if it was a 57.
Sorry could not resist after reading the post on the Civial Aviation side.

Lots of noises to be heard before during and after pushback depending on aircraft and starting procedures at that particular airport and particular operator. We need more clues

yeah specifically on a A320...right after push back there is a loud noise like when you screw something with a machine, it's abviously not the Flaps or any mecanical noise that i easy recognize... I never heared this noise on a 737 though just the A320.

na i don't think it's the dog barking sound..it's something else ,right after PB and engines starting up then the guys on the ground do something or disconnecting something and it makes like an electric screwdriver noise but very loud...mmm wonder what it is??

Turning the nosegear steering back on?

Some aircraft have a NLG pin.
Some have a pump for it that is operated from the cockpit.

Probably The Flap drive pump/motor,used to extend the LEDs.At times the Flaps & Slats are extended to position 1 after engine start up for Visual confirmation that they are extended from Ground staff, prior to Taxi out.[In addition to the Indication lts].
