Hi all, I have some questions reguarding the boeing 757: What is the boeing 757 v-speed and climb speed? also, what is the max. cruiseing altitude for the 757?

I can help you with the max cruise altitude, it is 41,000 feet. Although this depends of temperatures and weights. Hotter days, especially when heavy will restricit it lower.

Too many variables to give single answers to the questions asked. My experience in North American operations saw V1 speeds ranging from about 125kias to about 155kias. Climb speeds ranging from 250kias (below 10,000') to 340kias and .74mach to .85mach.

AA's 757's have a max cruise altitude of FL420.

Your 757-200's use RB-211's?
What's the thrust on them about? I've heard numbers from 38,000 to 43,000, but the most common I've heard is 42,000. Which one is correct for the AA 757?

At one time AA had FL425 as max cruise altitude, but that was from graphic chart. Since that time AA has published a numerical limit of FL420. B767s have FL430 as their max cruise altitude.

RB211-E535 engines as mounted on AA B757s have published static thrust of 42,540 lbs.
