You'll have to be more specific. What area of aviation are you interested in - maintenance, management, piloting, etc., etc., etc.?

Jeppesen A&P Technician Series is quite good and not too expensive.

There are 3 books:
- vol.1: A&P Technician General Textbook
- vol. 2: A&P Technician Airframe Textbook
- vol. 3: A&P Technician Powerplant Textbook

Each book contains at least 600 pages and at least that number of photo's/diagrams.

Costs about $30.00 per volume and available in any good pilot shop.

Airliner Tech series is also good but is more a description of the development and production process of a specific aircraft.

Best regards,
GR.

A copy of AC 43.13b. This is an FAA publication so pretty cheap.

There is a book called composite basics that is great for how to do fiberglass and plastic work.

We also use books of the Glenco series. The aircraft powerplants, electronics and basic science ones.
