Hi Folks,
I'm studying for my Commercial right now, and realized that I really don't know much about Aircraft systems (definitely not as much as I want to know about the engine, propellor, fuel systems, etc...). I want to know as much about my plane(s) as I can, and was rummaging through the pilot shop I work at today, and found a few books. There were a couple by Jeppesen, and one by ASA and another by a company I don't remember. The two that were not Jeppesen seemed pretty basic..a little to basic for what I wanted.
I want to know a lot about engine operation (I really don't know much about engines, so I don't want something that assumes I'm an A&P or something), and I want toknow about fuel systems, Aerodynamics, and prop systems. As it is I'm only flying Pistons, so I don't want a book that discusses jet engines, either.
Can you guys come up with any recommendations?
Thanks, much appreciated,
S.A.S.
