Topic: Istanbul! LH FRA-IST A321 Economy Username: sfflyer123 Posted 2012-11-06 20:49:18 and read 2082 times.I flew to Istanbul for work, but I had one day off to do some sight seeing. I upgraded my flight from the USA to Frankfurt, but I could not upgrade the intra-Europe leg. I show not only the flight on Lufthansa, but I also focus in on Istanbul itself. I know that many people have been asking me to focus in on the city also in addition to the plane trip, so this has lots of stuff about the city.
Airliners.net no longer allows videos, so I will not post the video.
Here are photos of my report:

Istanbul is a great city, and I highly recommend it. It's amazing that LH can actually serve such great food for a 2hour economy flight! |

Amazing is maybe the US expression on such things but in Europe we're still used to receive some catering on the 'legacy airlines'.

Kudos to you! 3 pics from the city without further writing and 1 glass of beer, 1 plate of food. If you think that this is the way to focus on things, you certainly miss the point imho.

Thanks for your comment. The full report is the video, but I cannot provide you a link to it, unfortunately. The photos are just "teaser" photos. Thank you for the comment!

Thanks for posting, I saw your earlier post with the video, I gotta say that before I had been a bit skeptical about the virtues of doing a trip report by video, but I think that there are some experiences that are definitely better captured on video, thanks in particular for the footage from IST, the Turkish lounge looks -amazing- and the food available made me quite hungry

Another great video report as always! Thanks for sharing. I know it's indeed a big difference between the EURO and US carriers.

Thanks, Marc. Yes, it's pretty amazing how they are so disparate! Take care.
