I tried out QF for the first time was very impressed- at least until I arrived Heathrow, where I found out my baggage didn't make the trip! Oh well, at least the flight was good, the report with pictures is available on my blog:

Thanks so much for the report.. really enjoyed it, along with the rest of your blog as always! Qantas is certainly one of the best. Anyway, you were saying about not being able to see the ground until 40mins before landing in LHR.. it can be more like 40secs back in HK!! Headphones look identical to CX without the markings.. no??

Awesome trip report & great pics!!
Thanks for being so detailed and taking pics of everything! Just wondering if your seat neighbour knew what you were taking photos for? He looks a bit shocked in that pic of the SkyBed seat haha
Anyway glad you enjoyed our national airline. I can't wait to try QF J class one day

Great report! I enjoyed the photos, the seats look nice. Shame about your luggage but at least you got it back in the end. I would love to fly QF again my last flight with them was years ago and in Y.

Thanks for the comments guys. My seatmate was probably a little irritated at me for taking pictures nonstop during a 12 hour overnight flight!
