Well arrived Tokyo 26 mins late. Got off the plane and had to walk around a bit to get to the area in the terminal where
connecting passengers went to pick up new boarding passes for connecting flights. A Japan Airlines agent checked passports and issued new passes. All first class passengers were given a pass to the NWA World Club but as there was only an hour just went to the gate. Had to pass screening to get back to the gate. All the agents at the checkpoint were
very courteous to the passengers passing through. At the gate discovered Japan Airlines agents handled the flight.
Boarding started at 1520 and departure was on time. While the plane was pushing back noticed that a Japan Airlines
747 arrived and the ramp crew chief was holding a roll call for the ground workers, all dressed in white coveralls and hardhats. After what looked like finishing giving
out assignments they all bowed and went about servicing the aircraft.
Take off was smooth and off to Guam we went.
Hot towels and then a drink service started. The movie on this flight was Elizabethtown. The first class F/A addressed everyone by name and asked for their choice for dinner, which was fish or pork. Opted for the pork dinner which was
ok but kind of dry. Flight passed on uneventful. When the seatbelt sign came on to signal the initial descent, the F/A came around and addressed eveyone by name, shook hands and thanked everyone in First for flying Continental Micronesia. Upon arriving at the terminal walked down the corridor to immigration and then downstairs to baggage claim . Since the bag was tagged for Elite it was the third one on the belt Passed through Guam Customs without any hassle and walked outside into the humid night of Guam.
