Heading Down To Sydney In December

Hi All,
I have FINALLY decided on my travel arrangements when I will be heading down to Sydney on December the 3rd for One week with my cousins.
The fare I could get from Brisbane to Sydney was $159 return. This of course is not the cheapest, but oh well, I am not that poor.
After much debate as to whether I would fly Qantas, Ansett or Singapore Airlines, I chose my all time favourite Qantas!!!

My travel arrangements are as follows:
Brisbane - Sydney
11.10AM QF525

Sydney - Brisbane
12.20 (I think) QF522

They will both be operated by the 762 (which disappointed me, as I wanted the 763)

What do you people think?
I will release a trip report as soon as I get back.
Any experiences I could live off?

You had the choice out of Singapore Airlines and Qantas and you chose the latter???. One question, WHY???

How could you fly SQ anyway, given that they don't have domestic rights downunder???

Dont be disapointed you are on the 762!!
They will be going next year!!!

They have over 20 763's in their fleet which will be here for over a decade!

Yep I agree Trentis, The best BNE-SYD flight would be the Ansett 747-400 flight!

Sorry! My mistake! Ofcourse I would not choose a lexus over a Yugo (particularly when the Lexus is cheaper).
I meant to say Japan Airlines.
But that was more expensive.

Sorry! I dont like the An flight... I was considering that, but QF gave us a better package

The BNESYD Japan Airlines flt can only for used for pax with connections on intl flts ex SYD that day. Not available at all for domestic Australian traffic. Dont worry about the 762, that acft type will probably change at least 20 times before then Big grin

Just that. The acft can type can change and often does up to and on the day of departure due to operational requirements.

I am not a fond supporter of those old seats that are on QF 762's.
Oh well, short flight... but hope it changes the aircraft.
