I'd like to start by introducing myself. My name is Gordon Vanscoy. I live outside of Pittsburgh and fly USAirways every time I need to get from place to place.
However, I have never flown US Airways internationally. On July 30th, I am flying to Paris on one of their 767-200's. I am wondering if anyone could please provide me with information from a transatlantic trip on a USAirways 767. I am flying Envoy class, but I do not care what your reports are on (Economy or Envoy). I have read the information on the USAirways website, but it mostly describes their A330's. If anyone has any information, I would greatly appreciate it!

Gordon, I'd advise making a search of this forum. I know there are several trip reports since the start of the year on here on transatlantic US Airways.
Also, go to flyertalk.com
Under Flyertalk Miles, there is a trip report board. Search it. There are many US Airways transatlantic Envoy and First (on the A330) trip reports there that will help you out.

Last August I flew on USAirways from PHL-LGW-PHL on their Boeing 767-200ER. It was my first time on a widebodied aircraft and I loved it. The crew on the flights were very nice, and the aircrafts were extra clean. I flew coach and was seated the second seat behind the bulkhead dividing envoy from coach, from what it looked like they were being treated very well up there as were we. On the flights we were always being offered drinks and snacks, very cool! I think you'll definately enjoy flying them transatlantic, its awesome! I wish I could have flown on the A330 one of the ways, but hey you get what you get.
Hope all goes well!
do what you like . like what you do . life is good

See if you can switch to the A330. You will enjoy this flight much more than the 767. The 767 is still awesome in Envoy, but the A330 is superior in my opinion. As far as 767 goes, you will have a nice seat with manual controls. The seat will recline almost flat, but not quite all the way. You get 55 inches of pitch between seats. The personal video screen will have about 10 channels of movies/ television shows on a continuous loop (no pause). The meals will be far superior to anything in coach (choice of 3 or 4 entrees, appetizer, salad, nice wines, and decent desert).
A330 will have pretty much exact level of service for meals. However, the seats and entertainment far outshine the 767. The seats are electronically controlled with 60 inches of pitch, and the Personal Video is "on demand" which allows you to pause/rewind/fast forward movies, tv shows, and the added bonus of having about 30+ CD's to choose from. Also you get Bose Noise Cancelling headphones on the A330.

Thank You all for responding. I cant wait to go. I tried to see if they had any A330 flights to CDG. They did, but all of them were connections and I would have missed my Air France flight to Venice. I cannot wait for my chance to fly on the A330. I hope US Airways holds together. At least until I get a chance to fly on that magnificent airbus.
