Great report... but silly question... did you change seats on the 175? Because row 13 is the 2nd or 3rd row of economy, and is ahead of the wing? Your film view looks alot like what i had from 21F?

Yup, I changed seats on a few flights. On the B762 from Winnipeg to Toronto I moved from 3A to 4A. And the EMB175 flight, I did move to somewhere behind the wing.

I really liked the format of your trip report! It made for a great read and I loved the pics/vids.
Also, what was up with the oxygen mask on the Kuwait flight to LHR? Did that happen after takeoff or something?
Thanks!

On my last trip to New York we waited 1 1/2 hours to take off from JFK and did not make up the time. The time before 2 hours. I am surprised that in the summer they are so empty. Do they give you a choice for dinner? And what do they give for breakfast?
I read that they were losing a lot of money rather like Gulf Air is. My cousin flew with them from London to JFK once because they offer lower fares than the others. You write great reports. Very interesting. Am I also correct that most of the crew are not from the Mid East?

As always, a very nice report. You take the best pictures.
It would seem that Virgin's idea of towing their planes out to the runway would be agood one for everyone at JFK to use. Such a waste of fuel to have even one engine running for an hour.

Nice trip report. I've often wondered about taking Kuwait Airways from LHR-JFK as they often have pretty cheap fares. Its a bit of a shame they are not in a major alliance as I'd like to fly them but can't justify taking such a long flight and earning no miles, not even if they are £100 cheaper. Maybe one day this will change.

As usual, great report with excellent pictures. This time a lot of videos too. How did you manage to get the sound from the ATC?? It's almost as if you are listening to UA's Channel 9 Love that

Excellent trip report. Those are some great pictures you took at JFK, really nice. I flew Kuwait Airways a while back, never really found them to be anything special as you said. I mostly ended up using a European carrier for all my travels to and from Kuwait.

Excellent report and photo's as usual, many thanks.
We don't see many KU TR's so it is good to read one.
Whilst not keen on their cabin colours, the meal service seems of a reasonable size.
The photo's you took at LGA, were they airside?
The monorail thing at JFK looks pretty neat for spotting though I'm not sure I fancy a day going round and around.......

A super trip report, the videos from JFK and the spotting ones from Hatton Cross were very enjoyable. KU is one of those "middle tier" airlines, neither great nor bad, they do offer competive fares on LHR-JFK. Was suprised to see a light load, when i flew them on LHR-JFK-LHR a few years back (July/August) the load factor was close to 100%. Their A340's look a bit dated though their 777's interiors looked much nicer when i flew them.
