Hi guys, This is my first time to write a trip report, so I am trying to do my best. Also, I just came back from BOS to HKG, so I am still suffering some jet lag while writing this report, so I am quite tired. I hope my report is OK.

Continental Airlines:
HKG-EWR: B777-200, 17Jun
LONG FLIGHT!!! Flight CO98, the scheduled departure time is 1205. I went to the airport at 9:30am, but surprisingly, I found the CO check-in desk is crowded with passengers already. And I took 28L seat(coach), the row just in front of the toilet.
The estimated duration is 15:30. It didn't took off on time and was pushed back at 12:30.
When it came to the runway, interesting thing happened: it stayed at the end of runway for about 10 minutes. Guess what happened?? The captain told us that he had to burn out 200lb of excess fuel in order to take off!!! HA!! Then, planes started to line up alongside the runway waiting our plane to take off.
After took off, it served lunch and started the PTV system. I tried to have some sleep, however the air was TOOO dry and the seat TOOO cramped, I didnt have any sleep on the almost 16 hours flight!!
After 6 hours, it served the second meal: cup noodles and sandwiches! GREAT food!! More delicious than the lunch in fact!!!!
It also seems everyone couldn't sleep and many passengers were standing and stretching in the space around the toilets in the mid of aircraft! Perhaps most of us are now feared of having the DVT.
With 6 more hours to kill, I watched some movies and walked around. I finally waited till to have the pre-arrival meal: scrambled eggs and potatoes. It was quite delicious indeed!!
Then, the greatest moment came finally - landing at EWR. It means the long flight was over! I saw the magnificent NYC skyline while the plane approached the runway.

Best thing of this flight: the cup noodle served
Worst thing of this flight: seat too cramped and PTV didn't show any news!!! Also, no free newspaper!



EWR-BOS: B737, 17Jun, CO360
The weather in BOS was so bad, all the flights to BOS was delayed for at least 2 hours. My flight originally should take off at 1730. The flight delayed till about 1930.
The CO terminal was great, but that day everythings were very confusing. The gate number of my flight changed for 3 times!!!! When the aircraft door was about to be closed , a guy asked " Is this flight going to Buffalo?" What a man! He boarded the wrong flight! He immediately left the plane and everyone just laughed!
Finally, after waiting at the gate for almost an hour, it was 8:30pm now. The flight delayed for 2 hours already. we came to the runway and the captain announced something very stunning to me - our plane was the 30th plane for take off. Oh my god! I waited almost an hour and 15 with the plane crawling to the runway!
The flight was pretty short, just about 45 minutes. The FA quickly served the beverage. And the plane finally landed at BOS!!!

Great thing of this flight: The FA looked great and they gave me whole can of apple juice!
Worst thing of this flight: it delayed for 3 hours! Crazy!
