Air Canada flight AC304 from Kansas City (MCI) to Toronto (YYZ) departing Kansas City at 1:55 PM from gate 54 in Terminal C.
As I checked in on my flight, I saw that there was a delay from 1:55 to 2:35 but I said "It doesn't matter!". After 20 minutes of waiting to check in and finally checking in, I saw that the flight was delayed to 3:00 PM. This time I was a little frustrated, but I just sat down near the gate and waited. At about 2:30, I looked over and saw that it changed to 2:45 and they were calling people for last boarding. I rushed myself to the gate, but ofcourse they chose my bag to be opened and searched. Anyways, I got on the plane as the last person on. We departed at 2:45 from Kansas City. The flight was a nice one as we flew at 27,000 ft. towards Toronto. It seemed extremely short probably because it was. Because they lacked a good departing time, the lone flight attendant said he would be serving drinks. "All drinks are free except alcoholic beverages which are $5 Canadian and $4 American but since we had a late departure, all alcholic bevareges will be free. I saw the smile on peoples faces. We started our descent into Toronto ten minutes out and it was a smooth landing. Now it was like 6 PM there and my connection to Tel Aviv was at midnight so I went throughout the terminal looking for cool planes. Here's a list of the ones I saw:
Air Canada to Honolulu wit a Boeing 747-400
British Airways to London with a Boeing 777
Korean Air to Seoul with a Boeing 747-400
Air Canada to Sao Paulo with an Airbus A340
It was kind of weird. Everywhere you looked, it was all Air Canada and Canadian.
Air Canada flight AC886 from Toronto Lester B. Pearson (YYZ) to Tel Aviv Ben Gurion International (TLV) departing Toronto at 11:55 PM from gate EE in Terminal 1. (Or is it Terminal 2? I don't know. It's the one where over seas flights are)
As I got on the plane, I sat in the small cabin between Business and Economy (I think they call it Economy Plus). I sat in row 15A and 15B was empty. The movies were Chocolat, What Women Want, and some other shows. The food was horrible. I don't eat vegatables and what do they serve to everyone on the flight? A vegetarian meal. No meat AT ALL. So all I ate was a cracker and drank some coke. I politely said to the fight attendant, "Excuse me, do you have anything with meat in it?" and Mr. NiceGuy answers, "GOD! I already answered this question, NO!" Good service, huh? I went to bed after my delightful snacking that they called dinner. I slept for a long long time. I woke up 3 hours out of Tel Aviv and they were serving breakfast. We had our choice of an omlet or pancakes. The same guy came around and I asked him if they were going to serve salad's for breakfast. He rolled his eyes and walked away. "F*** you, too buddy!" On approach into Tel Aviv was fine, a descent began 60 minutes away. Nice touchdown. As we landed I saw the following planes:
Arkia AirlinesÝto London with a Boeing 757
Continental to Newark with a Boeing 777
El Al to New York with a Boeing 747-400 (New Colors)
Israir to Istanbul/Athens with a Boeing 737-300
Overall, this flight is considered to be a 8 out of 10.
If you have any questions about my flight or are going to travel through any of those three airport feel free to reply to this and I'll be happy to answer it!

Air Canada to Honolulu wit a Boeing 747-400
I think this is probably an error as AC flies 767-300 to HNL.
As I got on the plane, I sat in the small cabin between Business and Economy (I think they call it Economy Plus).
Unfortunately, AC does not have an Economy Plus section. You were in the forward section of the 763 Y class that were seperated by the lavatory. Some airlines will order their 763 with the lavatory in the most forward section of Y class.
Mr. NiceGuy answers, "GOD! I already answered this question, NO!" Good service
Unfortunately again, this is typical AC service on many of their flights that are served by FA with high senority.

About the Honululu flight, you are right. I now recall that the board said Honolulu but as I was taking a picture, they said "Please discard the Honolulu sign, we are heading to London" So it was to London, my bad!

In all the years I lived in Canada (1957-1979) I avoided AC like the plague - always flew CP! I see from your report that they have gotten even worse!

Good trip report, Jhawk. I flew on a CP 763 (in the transition colors) last year, I was also seated in the forward Y section (row 16, I think). The service was pretty good, and the meals weren't vegetarian! I hope that AC will try to match CP's service on all its flights.

Great trip report sounds like you had an extremely nasty f/a, but hey when I travel I usually at least get one nasty f/a and thats if I'm lucky.
