Once in New Zealand there is a fantastic private car museum with some vintage cars. It's about an hours drive from Wellington.

This gangsters car still has the original bullet holes in the windscreen.

Can you guess who owned this car?

This one is made of copper!

Flew back to Sydney on ZK-JTR.

Then we went for a little ride around Sydney and the northern beaches.

What airline is the multicoloured plane - I can't see a name? How much was the helicopter sightseeing trip? Wonderful shots of Sydney. Great house with pool overlooking the sea - that yours? Wink

Around $350 each but it goes cheaper the more people fly. The chopper was VH-CKO and there are no pics of it on anet.........yet. Wink

It remains me of m tie in Sydney: beautiful place. Probably the nicest city in the world.

I always wanted to fly in a helicopter, but find it quite expensive. It seems I will have to do it someday afterall...

It was beautiful yes, although we were only there for 3 days visiting relatives so we didn't see much of the islands. Here are some more pics.

Canon 350D and the 18-55mm lens. I did get quite a bit of dirt on the viewfinder during the trip so I took it to a very good camera shop in Sydney opposite Hyde Park and it cost $65 dollars to get it cleaned. It only took an hour and it was like new when I got it back.

Funny you should mention fireworks. On our last evening in Sydney we had dinner out on the terrace of Cafe Sydney overlooking the harbour. There was a new ship in the harbour, Pacific Dawn, you might have seen it on the news. So not only did we get a great view that night we also got the added bonus of fireworks over the harbour!

NZ is closing SJ down (NZ owns SJ) on March 31st. ZK-OJO (Warner Bros logo jet) will be re-painted, and could possibly be painted in NZ Holidays green livery, like what ZK-FRE is currently.
