Total: 3211 km
Total paied € 23,85, of which 5,99 for BGY-HHN, 5,99 for HHN-NYO, 11,87 (SEK 109) for NYO-BGY.
Between BGY and NYO there’s only une flight a day, and the BGY-NYO lands in NYO very late in the evening.
But there’s an optino, I can dapart BGY at 6,30 and then take the HHN-NYO at 9,15, which lands in NYO shortly after 11,00.
So I woke up at 4,05 and I went to BGY. I made all Check’n go, so I can arrive at BGY a little bit later.

Nothing to say about the flight. Some turbulence in the first half of the flight.
The view was really beautiful with all that ice!!!
It isn’t hot, but neither too cold, it’s about the same temperature I had in Brescia during last days.
But the weather is really grey.
Here’s the bus stop at Skavsta airport
We departed on time and we reached the Central Station 80 minutes later (100 km). Meanwhile the weather improved and when I arrived there was a beautiful sun.
I bought the 24 hours ticket for Tunnelbana (90 Kr) and I went to Gamla Stan, the medieval main island of Stockholm.
Royal Palace
Royal Palace other side
Stockholm Cathedral (Storkyrkan), views from the back (in fact this is the front view, but the entrance is in the back.
It’s the oldest Stockholm building (XIII sec.).
Then I went to the city, north of Gamla Stan, and it’s 16,00….
I took a pic of the famoust clock which turns on itself. Very dark for the time….
I entered a mall (Galerien) e and I saw this …. In Italian "Fika" it’s a vulgar word…. What does it mean in Swedish?
Galerien mall
Then I went to Sergels Torg, one of the most famous squares
Then I want back to take a shower.
In the evening I didn’t see a strong life or better, I haven’t seen it, maybe it’s somewhere else), so I went back home.
The next morning at 8 I starter my stroll, but the weather was really, really grey!!!
I went back to the city
Here’s Sergels Torg by day
The building with the clock
Then I entered the park
Jacobs Kirka
Frange priest
The theater
Royal Palace
I returned to Gamla Stan (medieval)
Jarntorget square, where there was a market for metals
The thinnest Stockholm road
Back to the city
Then I took the bus back to Skavsta.

I don't understand why in this site instead of accents, € symbol or o with umlaut there are all those strange signs.
I tried to correct them, but there's nothing to do.
Figa or Fika in italian is the (very) vulgar way to say the female sex organ.

Cool report! Smart idea to "connect" in HHN instead of taking those late night FR flights! Thanks for all the pictures of Stockholm! I'll be there Jan 2 to Jan 5. Any recommendations for the city?

Really good TR.
Always love when I see TRs that cover Stockholm.
Fika in Sweden means something like a coffee brake or something similar.

Then it had to been something like a surprise for you when you saw that commercial.
Seems that you had a great time in Stockholm. You should visit Stockholm during the summer.
