Hello all
I flew to LAX from CDG with AF
I visited my folks here in france.... (I used to live there)
Flight from MRS was on time, I headed to the Terminal E, I have been warmly welcomed by the ground staff, she checked my BP, then we passed the security, I was the sole passenger for FC, while the coach class line was full...
the lounge is very close, it took us 1 min. As soon as I reched the lounge, my passport and Bording Pass were collected... for inspection..
As you will see from the pics, it was a good lounge, but for business class, you expect more for FC lounge, like NZ in LAX, no wireless connection (free)
it was 12;40, an agent came and drove me to the plane with a mercedes benz..
The FA is charge of FC cabin was stunning, ( she worked on concorde )...
the seat : 1A as usual, i slept 7 hours straight
IFE : worked, yes it's not a joke!!!! I dream AF will copy SQ....
time to see what you eat for lunch :
Appetizer : white radish ravioli with aragula and ricotta cheese, carrot cake flavored with gringer and cinnamon
Hors d'oeuvre : scallops with ras-el-hanout spices with cucumber and tomatoes.... so tasty
Main course : filet of beef with earl grey jus, paired with radish, peas. good as well
Dinner :
Hors d'oeuvre : sheep's milk cheese wrapped in nori
main course : veal accompanied by sweet-and-sour sauteed zucchini with basil
Verdict : paying 12000 euros round trip ( P fare ), it can be a disappointment... but be relieved i used an award ticket....the crew were very nice
Check In: 10 (Friendly and free)
Lounge: 6 ( I expect more from AF)
Boarding: 10( by car)
Seat: 9.5 (a bit wider could be nice)
Crew: 9 (always looking after you)
Meal: 8 (good.)
Entertainment: 7 (working for once)

Great pics! thanks for the report
Travelling is not all about the destination. its about how you get from point A to point B and everything in between.

1st class looks nice but i guess i don't really understand why anyone is willing to pay for that. it's so not worth it given the price.
