I just came back from my Christmas break and i was able to take Korean Air's new Business Class seat!! And the whole flight was a great experience although i have flown with Korean Air many of times i would have to say that this new product is by far, refreshing and enjoyable!!! I flew from ICN To LAX on Korean Air Flight 015 on plane HL 7434 Here are some pics of the seat and the meals and please comment i would like to know how to make my trip reports better Thanks.
In the Airport
By the Gate
Champagne while boarding
Prestige Plus Seat
A look into the new First Class Sleeper seats
A Look Around The Business class Cabin
Relax mode setting
Sleep Mode Setting
Individual reading lights
The pattern of the fabric
Flight attendant taking an order
After the meal service ended the flight attendants slowly lowered the lights and then everyone started to fall asleep. As did i for the seats were sOOOOO comfortable.
Flight attendant checking up on the passengers
Flight attendant serving breakfast
the flight took about 9 hours and 40 min but i wished for the first time for the flight to be longer because everything was done with the best service. Also the flight was not full so i had the seat next to me empty. Hoped u liked my trip report but since i have so many pics of the seat it would be a shame not to show u because there are none on airliners.net so here are more pics of the seat hope u like them....

Great Trip Report! I really enjoyed it. it would be nice if you could maybe get some pics out the window next time and maybe even the lounge. im sure it would have been impressive, the lounge at Incheon. Work on the lighting some more. but overall, GREAT WORK! there are rarely any trip reports about the northern asian airlines and hope you could come up with some more soon! I look forwards to reading some more of your TRs soon.

Nice trip report. It is good to hear about high quality service from Korean Air. The Korean airlines definitely lagged behind for a while in having quality products in business class. It is good to see them catch up even though the highest quality Asian airlines are going even further. I think overall even UA has had better seat comfort in business class than Korean, and with both having new seats, UA will still be ahead.
If you have never designed an airplane part before, let the real designers do the work!

Quoting Omoo (Reply 1): nice trip report, i especially like the order taking......
Glad to see I'm not the only one that noticed that! Totally agree. Both KE and OZ have attractive and charming FAs.

Totally agree with you. Even OZ's biz seats (while archaic) are still pretty comfortable. I haven't flown in the new KE seats pictured above but at first glance, they look a bit confining on the sides.
I couldn't help but notice that the bibimbop (the dinner main course in this TR) looks nearly identical to the Y-class bibimbop served on KE which comes in a plastic bowl. The Chinese-style cod looks appealing - did any of your seatmates order it? I don't think I've ordered anything other than bibimbop on any of the KE or OZ flights I've flown between ICN and the U.S.

Enjoyed the travel report. Interesting color scheme. I find the blue-green colour scheme a little reminiscent of hospitals. How new are these seats? They seem a bit "last generation" with angled lie-flat seats and non-widescreen IFE. Still, you had a good flight and sleep so that counts for more!
Quoting AFKLMLHLX (Reply 16): Well I'm going to Hong Kong soon, so idk when you just see natives wearing masks it seems kind of alarming.
It's for your own safety. Do you know the amount of garlic used in their cooking (as said by someone who loves that cooking)? In Japan they also wear masks frequently and I felt guilty for sniffling away without one.

At least on KE's website, the color looks quite soothing to my eye.... These are actually KE's newest business class seats (look like the same as Thai's business class seats, judging from a recent TR). KE does also have the larger, truly-flat 1st Class seats for long-haul routes.

Great report. Thanks for the excellent pictures, they really brought back some memories for me. Korean Air is a under rated airline, they are an amazing airline. Good to see some up dated shots of their seats on the 777. Look forward to more trip reports from you in the future.
