Well, this is the Trip Report for the inbound flight of our honeymoon that took us two weeks in Paris, visiting the city, the museums, the main landmarks like Eiffel Tower, L' Arch de Triomphe, the Louvre. A brief stay at Disneyland Paris, a ride on Eurostar to London, the Eye, Madame Toussauds Museum, Picadilly Circus, and many many more exciting things. No place like Europe to honeymoon. So, all this makes this trip a very special one.

We came back from London the day before (14 January), i did the e-check in early morning at the London hotel since they had free internet on the room. I made an internet reservation on a small good placed hotel near the Eiffel tower (at rue Duvivier) for our last night. We had to leave early and the staff kindly had the breakfast early for us as we were leaving half hour before breakfast starting time.

We arrived quickly to Charles de Gaulle by RER and showed at the Caracas flight check desks. Even though we could use the e-services machines we preferred to check our baggage at the flight desk.

It was very quick before we had passed emigration and had time to look at the ADP Duty Free (not the very best one I must say). The line to board the plane was already huge and we were 1 hour away from the boarding time. So we sat down and saw how all that people was desperate for boarding which gave me a little time to spot a few planes (most of them AFs).













We started boarding and a ten minutes delay was announced. When we were boarding the FA told us that our seats were ok in the upper deck but there wasn't room for the hand bags so we must put them on the L'Espace storage (yes, my belongings flew first class but i didn't, lol) Anyway, once seated and tied it was the same story again to be late "...we had problems counting passenger..." so, the delay was already 40 minutes and when you add the push back, the wait at the runway you have a plane taking off one hour and a half late. I wasn't in a hurry but the guy seating behind us was counting the minutes as he was connecting to PTY (Panama City) from CCS (Caracas).





























We took off, and made a few turn to be enroute to Caracas.



The service began with the crew handing amenities kits and the menu. Then the champagne made its appearance accompanied with an "aperitif", a very good tasty salty crouton-like one.





This time the IFE was WAY A LOT BETTER than the one we had in the outbound flight. This time we had a touch screen, a retractable control that came out of your seat. It had an IFE with games, videos, radio, movies, documentaries, kids shows, GeoVision, and other things.







My choice for meal was the meat and rice with salmon salad, Camembert cheese, yogurt, nut cake, water and red wine.



After the meal i went downstairs to take a quick walk and look from the windows to the wings and take a few pics.

Time to watch a film and read a little bit.

One hour and a half before landing a "cold dinner" (that was the name on the menu) was served. It consisted of chicken and rice, cream cheese, water, white wine and a banana cupcake.







Time to land as we were seeing the Venezuelan coast.

MY AFTERMATH
Again, an amazing flight with Air France.
No problems at all an a better IFE this time.
